Midtjylland vs Viborg

Betting Preview: Danish Superliga is kicking off this week-end and I have a first pick. Midtjylland used to be the best home team in the league last season. Had they got -1.25 at home against a team like Viborg, I would have never went against them. But they don't seem ready for the next season and their horrible performance against Lincoln Red Imps in the Europa League does seem to suggest that. They've lost first-choice goalkeeper Haugaard, Igboun and Uzochukwu this summer, all of them important players in the team. New arrivals are Kian Hansen from Nantes and Daniel Royer from Austria Vienna. I guess remains to be seen how the new guys will integrate in the team but one thing is sure, things are not the same. Not for the time being at least, otherwise they wouldn't have been so sloppy against a half-amateur team. Viborg are newcomers in the league but they're coming off at the back of winning the title in the Danish 1st division and reports suggest they have a strong group. There no big names in their team but being given Midtjylland's sloppy start, it is possible that Viborg will get something out of this game.
